ABOUT PARENT COACHING

Parents we work with often report that they are frustrated with their child's behavior but unsure of how to change it. They are disappointed with the interactions with their child, leading to arguments, empty threats, and a strained relationship. Parents say they are tired of walking on egg shells and feel burned out attempting to prevent behaviors from occurring. 

At Spreading Your Wings, we are here to help not only your child but YOU. Kamryn is a licensed clinical social worker who provides 1:1 coaching services to help you improve your parent-child interactions and feel more confident responding to behaviors within your home. She uses a positive parenting model and will be there every step of the way to support you. 

What services are included?

• Psychoeducation regarding positive parenting and improving parent-child interaction
• Teaching and implementing evidence-based practices to reinforce positive behavior
• Developing individualized behavior intervention plans (BIP) to utilize within your home
• Regular communication with outside providers (I.e. teachers, therapists, pediatricians, etc)
• Developing individualized parenting plans with strategies aligned with goals to address your family's needs
• Observation, feedback, and planning sessions held virtually
• Empathetic and responsive support in a safe place
